And just like that, here we are in August!
It is my pleasure to let you know that our Lodge has received $15,005.88 in grant funding from New Castle Main Street and their Building Renovation Assistance Program. This funding will be used to fix our A/C units and replace all the flooring in the bar, kitchen, dry storage, and dishwashing room. Thank you to Chris Wilkey for applying for this grant and making this possible. Thank you to New Castle Main Street for this incredible investment into our Lodge and community. Please go out of your way to attend their events and support their efforts.
Even though we are a little slower during the summer months, we still had a busy July. Thank you to everyone that came out to celebrate with all the great employees and their families. I’ve said this several times, but our Lodge is lucky to have each one of you.
Thank you to all that attended the Luau just a few days ago. And an even bigger thank you to Kelly Benematti and Tom Alexander for all your help with this event. It’s members like you and those who attended that make our Lodge feel like home.
We have the Veterans Golf Outing coming up on August 29th – There’s still plenty of time to sign up at the Lodge. We also still have sponsorships available if you or your company would like to sponsor this incredible event. Just see me or any other officer if you would like to be a sponsor.
