Become A Member
Becoming a member of our Lodge is an easy process!
You need to first stop by the Lodge and grab an application. Any bartender or officer can grab one for you from behind the bar.
The application will request some information including name, address, occupation, and a series of 12 questions. It will also ask for a proposer and 2 references. These 3 need to be current Elks members. With over 600 members in our community, finding 3 Elks members isn’t a hard task. Most new members are referred by a friend or family member, so make sure to include them as a proposer or reference on the application.
Once the application is complete, you need to return the application to the Lodge and pay your application fee.
Your application then goes through an approval process and you will be informed of your status once the review is complete.
If you are approved, you will be invited to an initiation to receive your status as a full Elks member. Initiations typically happen once a month, but you will receive a notice of your initiation date by mail, email, or phone call.
After your initiation, you are a full member and have access to the Lodge at any time (pending it is open). You may bring guests to the Lodge, but you must sign them in at the front door (in the guest book). You will have to pay yearly dues and will receive a statement in early March with your dues each year. In order to continue being a member, your dues must be paid each year.
