From The Exalted Ruler: |
Greetings, my fellow Elks. First, I’d like to start out by saying that it is an honor to serve as your Exalted Ruler for this upcoming year. Mark Bowers II did an excellent job this past year, and I hope we can continue building on that success. I know that many people worked hard this last year. The time each member and officer volunteered at this lodge is truly appreciated. I’m excited to announce that this year will be the 125th anniversary of our Lodge. My fellow officers and I look forward to celebrating this milestone with everyone. The reminders for membership dues have been mailed. Please pay as soon as you can, and consider giving a little extra for the ENF. Every contribution helps the Lodge secure grant money for the food pantry and coats for the children in our community. This month will have a couple of events scheduled. We will be having the ER Ball on Saturday, April 5th with the Big in Belgium band. Also, we will be participating in a bar crawl on Saturday, April 12th, supporting Jenson Shank. Tickets for that event can be purchased here. This upcoming year will be a year of change for us as we look to better the club and strive to serve our community with the guiding principles of the Order of this Lodge, i.e., Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity. Lastly, and most importantly, I would like to thank my wife, Amie, for supporting me in this endeavor. I look forward to seeing what we can achieve this year. Paul Groce Exalted Ruler |
